The Media Bunch, Inc., was founded in 1998 by Brady Shierling and Erik Gernand. Coming together with diverse media backgrounds, they started the company with the hope that they could truly love going to work, and feel good about the work they were doing. The goal of the company is to provide non-profit clients the highest quality media services in the most cost efficient way possible. |

Brady’s expertise is audio/visual technical support for events and conferences. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University, and prior to The Media Bunch, spent a number of years working as a media specialist for the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. Operating out of St. Simons Island GA, he ran the print shop and provided media technical support. |

His set designs have been used for national and regional events around the country. In the summers of 2004 and 2005, Brady traveled to Europe on tour with the South Carolina Conference United Methodist Youth Choir as an audio technician. He has volunteered as a media technician for many years at national and regional events for the Boy Scouts of America. Erik handles all video production projects. He's shot on location on four continents and all over the United States. He began his career at a PBS affiliate, and is a Telecommunications graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, IN, where he was a two-time recipient of the David Letterman Scholarship. |

Erik’s short films have screened at more than 20 international and U.S. film festivals including the Cambridge Film Festival (England), Film Pop (Montreal) and the DC Shorts Fest in Washington D.C. In competition these films have received multiple “best of” and audience awards. His short, DO YOU HAVE A MINUTE?, was nationally broadcast on the IFC Channel in 2007. Erik co-directed the documentary CHICAGO 360 through the Chicago non-profit, Split Pillow. He's co-written and produced shows at Donny's Skybox Theatre at Second City in Chicago including Mantabulous! which TimeOut Chicago called a "#1 Don't Miss." He has taught film and video with non-profit arts centers in Atlanta and Chicago. |
